The fine difference between inside and outside, the interplay of in and out, the questions of exclusion, isolation, inclusion, integration and the wafer-thin membrane, the layer - maybe the skin - that separates the inside from the outside, all these are aspects with which the Mainz performer duo Schmitt & Schulz have been dealing with in the past two years and with which they want to clean up properly in this retrospective. For Viewport they turn their creative process inside out and present themselves at work, developing performative scenarios, images, moments, insights and prospects in the showcase.
